BMES Announces a
New Abstract Submission Window!

As part of this year's conference theme of  Science, Technology, and Social Change, we are introducing a new abstract push for the BMES Annual Meeting focused on social transformation. This will center on justice, equity, and sociality in health and shed light on the role of biomedical engineers in developing innovative solutions to address challenges related to these areas.

From May 10 through June 7, we will be welcoming abstract submissions for the three 2023 Specialty Tracks: Immunoengineering, Data analysis and deep learning strategies, and Social Transformation. That means it’s not too late to increase your chances of securing an oral presentation at this year’s BMES Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA, from October 11-14. To learn what each of these tracks means, you can read a full description on the specialty abstract page.

The deadline to submit a Specialty Track abstract is Wednesday, June 7 at 3 p.m. ET and this ONLY applies to specialty track submissions.*

Please remember that waiting till the last minute floods our system and, due to the influx of submissions, can cause technical issues like slow upload times. Give yourself enough time to complete the entire submission process well in advance of 3 p.m. ET.

Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your research and insights at the 2023 BMES Annual Meeting!
