The Pathway to a BME Master’s:
Is It Right for You, How to Select a Program, and How to Pay for It?
This webinar series is designed to help students and early-career professionals in biomedical engineering make informed, intentional decisions about graduate master’s education. This series will provide neutral, structured guidance on three key questions:
-
Should I pursue a master’s degree in BME at all, and when would be the best time to do so?
-
Which type of program is the right fit for me: professional vs research MS, different institutional models, or “under-the-radar” options?
-
How can I realistically pay for a master’s program, especially a professional/industry-focused one?
The series will explicitly distinguish between professional/industry-oriented master’s programs and research-oriented MS programs, with a special emphasis on professional pathways in BME, since these are often less well understood by students and advisors.
