BMES and NSBE Partnership
BMES and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) work together as strategic partners to advance the mutual goals of both organizations. Through this collaboration we provide leadership within the bioengineering community and support efforts to increase the number of Black engineers by 2025.
About the National Society of Black Engineers
NSBE founded in 1975 is one of the largest student governed organizations based in the United States. With nearly 16 000 members and 500 chapters in the United States and abroad NSBE supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology.
NSBE Healthcare Innovation Special Interest Group
BMES collaborates with NSBE through the NSBE Healthcare Innovation Special Interest Group HISIG. The mission of HISIG is to promote the development and implementation of innovations that improve diagnosis treatment and prevention of injury illness and disease.
