Program Overview

The BMES Mentorship Program is designed to provide structured support and networking opportunities for members interested in learning from others in the biomedical engineering community.
Participants will be matched based on shared interests, career goals, and areas of expertise, helping create productive and meaningful mentorship relationships. Throughout the program, mentors and mentees are encouraged to engage in regular conversations focused on professional growth, skill development, and career exploration.
To support these interactions, the Student Affairs Subcommittee provides a mentorship curriculum and conversation guides throughout the year. These resources help participants navigate discussions on topics such as career planning, research opportunities, graduate school preparation, leadership development, and work–life balance.
