BMES WELCOMES STACEY SANTIAGO TO THE TEAM!

Stacey Santiago joined the Biomedical Engineering Society this month as the Society's new Marketing and Communications Senior Manager.

Stacey Matusko Stacey Santiago graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish Language, Business, and Cultures in 2009. Since graduating, she has worked in a mix of marketing and digital communication roles for organizations such as The Washington Nationals, The Carnegie Institution for Science, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Biotechnology Innovation Organization, and The Society for Human Resource Management.

As the Senior Marketing Communications Manager at the world's leading society for biomedical engineering and bioengineering – The Biomedical Engineering Society – Stacey is passionate about amplifying the industry's advancement in human health and well-being.

Stacey lives in Arlington, VA with her dog, Jake. In her free time, she enjoys the art of cooking, the efficiency of life hacks, and serving as a mental health advocate by lending her voice and experiences to bring awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental health conditions.
