Meet the Faculty Candidate Forum

If you're attending the 2023 BMES Annual Meeting, we invite you to join us for our annual Meet the Faculty Candidate Forum!  This networking event will be on Wednesday, October 11, from 3-5 p.m. in Seattle, WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates actively on the market for the 2023-2024 recruiting cycle. You can meet and network directly with college recruiters who can help you take the next steps in your BME career.

To qualify for this event, you must:

  • Be actively on the market for the 2023-2024 recruiting cycle*
  • Have received your PhD in 2023 or prior
  • Be an active BMES member
  • Register to attend the 2023 BMES Annual Meeting before early-bird pricing ends

Accepted candidates will present a biosketch and poster outlining accomplishments, aspirations, and accolades.

Monday, August 7 at 3 p.m. ET

We are seeking heads of departments, professors, and recruiting managers looking to hire for teaching- and research-focused positions. BMES will provide recruiters with an overview of each candidate before the event.
