Hosted University Receptions
The deadline to submit hosted reception requests has passed.
BMES will utilize the Hyatt Regency Seattle and the Seattle Convention Center - Summit to accommodate receptions on Thursday, October 12, 2023, between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
BMES will reach out to you for payment details as we are able to honor reception requests.
Reception hosts will be responsible for all expenses for the event including food and beverage, labor costs, and any audiovisual needs.
BMES assigns reception space in the order we receive the reservation request and based on the hotel spaces available for the event size.
The cost for hosting a reception is $2000 (the fee is waived if you are a platinum or gold sponsor). BMES will reach out to you for payment details in early July, when space has been assigned.
Important Deadlines:

Reception space assignments will be sent out to all requesters with catering and audiovisual information. |
| Mid July | Invoices for reception space will be sent out for all space requests. |
| Friday, August 4, 2023 | Deadline for payment to BMES for hosted reception space. |
| Thursday, September 7, 2023 | Deadline to submit menu selections and audiovisual requests. |
| Thursday, October 5, 2023 | Food and beverage final numbers (guarantees) due and payments are due to the venue. Invoices will be sent directly from the vendor. |
