Biomedical Engineering Education (BMEE)
BMEE is an interdisciplinary journal focused on the practice and scholarship of education in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, and allied fields. It is currently publishing its 5th volume with two issues per year. Learn more: BMEE Journal Information

Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology (CVET)
CVET presents a wide spectrum of cardiovascular research, from basic to translational, offering academic, clinical, and industrial investigators a platform for their work. It is currently publishing its 16th volume with six issues per year. Learn more: CVET Journal Information

About the Roles

BMES seeks Editors-in-Chief who have:

  • A background relevant to the journal’s field

  • Prior journal editorial experience

  • Vision and leadership to continue the journal’s growth

  • Ability to work productively with Springer Nature and BMES staff

Each Editor-in-Chief will serve an initial three-year term with the possibility of a second term, based on review by the BMES Executive and Publications Boards.

Each position includes support from an editorial assistant (provided by Springer Nature) and a stipend provided by BMES.
