Interview with Industry - Anthony Santago Archive
We encouraged members to attend live to ask questions about life in the industry, tips and tricks to getting in, and what pitfalls to look out for.
After graduating with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, Anthony joined the Virginia Tech – Wake Forest School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences (SBES) where he studied dynamic liver injury and age-related degradation in upper extremity musculature and movement ability.
Since joining MITRE upon graduation with his PhD in 2015, Anthony has supported several programs across the DoD focusing on understanding and modeling injuries and impairment as a result of exposure to military hazards. Anthony is also leading an internally funded research project aimed at leveraging advances in spatial-temporal analysis of athletes and applying those lessons learned to military personnel and law enforcement officers.
