Abstract Submission is now CLOSED!

  • Students competing for Undergraduate and Graduate Student Awards must submit an abstract at the time of the official abstract-submission deadline for the Annual Meeting. The submitter must indicate via a checkbox on the page where they input their name, contact, etc. that they intend to submit an extended abstract.
  • In June, students will receive an email with the details to upload the extended abstracts.
  • The BMES Awards Committee will select up to 13 graduate and undergraduate students. We select the number of winners based on the number of submissions we receive for each group. Graduate students are selected on the basis of scientific merit, originality, and quality of written presentation.
