Frontiers in Medical Devices Conference - Panel Discussion: How Good is Good Enough? Webinar

Recorded: May 19, 2015

Tina M. Morrison
FDA Regulatory Advisor of Computational Modeling for Center for Devices and Radiological Health

This year’s Frontiers Meeting is focused on the role of computational modeling in the total product life cycle of a medical device.  One of the important factors needed to ensure its proper use is verification and validation.  A “one size fits all” scheme does not exist for verifying and validating computational models, because of the diversity of devices and associated model applications. We can, however, ask “how good is good enough?”  This FDA panel with Industry moderators will address this question for different regulatory scenarios, devices and computational models.
