BMES Members (all levels): Discounted conference registration rates are offered as one of the many benefits of BMES membership. In order to qualify for a discounted BMES member registration rate, the registrant must be a BMES member in good standing (not expired) at the time of registration, and their membership must remain current through October 14, 2017. BMES members must be logged into their account in order to gain access to the BMES member registration portals, and you will only be able to complete your registration through the portals that correspond with your member-type. If your membership is expired or is due to expire ahead of October 14, please click here to renew your membership prior to beginning your registration.

Expired members and individuals who do not log in ahead of beginning their registration will not be able to access the discounted member rate registration portals. Expired members that do not renew ahead of registering will be redirected and charged at the appropriate Non-Member rate.

Student Non-Members: This registration rate applies to student registrants that are not members of the Society, as well as inactive (expired) Student Members. To qualify for the Student Non-Member registration rate, you must be actively seeking a degree (undergraduate, graduate or doctoral) in Biomedical Engineering or a related science at the time of registration, and you must not be a current member of the Society.

MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY TOURS (CLOSED) - Medical Device Company Tours will allow BMES registrants to visit local biomedical companies and interact with professionals in their field of interest.  Tours may include a company overview, walkthrough of manufacturing and/or R&D facilities, and networking with company employees. Round-trip transportation is included with your Medical Device Company Tour registration. Bus pick-up will take place outside of the Phoenix Convention Center on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 12:30pm. Tour attendees will return to the Convention Center at 3:30pm. Only one tour may be selected per registrant, as they are running concurrently, and pre-registration is required. Tour tickets are limited and attendance for each individual Tour is subject to the restrictions as listed below for each company.

Medical Device Company Tour tickets will be available online only through Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:59pm (eastern), or until tickets sell out, whichever comes first. 


CANCELLATION POLICY - Requests for registration cancellation must be received by August 30, 2017 in order to be eligible to receive a refund. These requests must be sent in writing via email to Phone cancellations are strictly prohibited. All refunds are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Substitutions are not permitted, and meeting registrations cannot be transferred to another person. Membership dues payments are non-refundable. 

PAYMENT POLICY - Annual Meeting registration fees can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Check/Money Order+ made payable in US dollars to BMES. CHECK PAYMENTS SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED REGISTRATION FORM FOR EACH ATTENDEE WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER. Payments must be dated, postmarked and in transit prior to the Early-Bird or Advance registration cut-off dates in order for the registrant to receive the applicable rate selected on their form. ***ADVANCE RATE REGISTRATION PAYMENTS THAT ARE DATED, CUT, MAILED OR POSTMARKED AFTER 09/27 ARE NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR THE ADVANCE RATE AND WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.*** All payments must be received in our office no later than 10/02; check payments and forms received after this date will not be processed or applied towards a registrant's balance until after the Annual Meeting has concluded. Individuals without a registration record showing as paid in full prior to the meeting will be required to pay on-site at the on-site rate. We do not accept wire or bank transfers for registration payments at this time. Payment receipts and registration confirmations will be automatically sent to the registrant's email address on file. If additional copies of receipts are needed, please contact and include the registrant's name and transaction date with your request.
