Fellow Annual Dues: $250
Honorary Fellow: No dues
Postage outside US & Canada: $35
Canada: $10 |
Two new fellow categories have been approved
for BMES. Fellow status will be awarded
to Society members who demonstrate exceptional achievements
and experience in the field of biomedical engineering,
and a record of membership and participation in the
Society.
Honorary Fellow status will be awarded
to select individuals who may or may not be Society
members, but meet all of the other non-membership fellow
status criteria.
Fellow and Honorary Fellow status will initially be
conferred by the BMES Board of Directors. In the first
year, nominations for each of these categories will
be made by Society members and the Board of Directors.
A general email to members will also announce the process,
so that members at large may give suggestions for nominations.
The format for Fellow nominations will be a nomination
form (click
here to download PDF), and a CV of the nominee.
CVs are limited to a maximum of ten (10) pages.
All BMES members may nominate candidates. No letters
will be solicited, as the intention is for the Fellow
Committee to make recommendations based on the content
of the nominator’s comments and the substance of the
CV itself.
