An invitation to help make biomedical engineering history The First Joint Meeting of BMES and EMBS "serving humanity - advancing technology"

Dear Colleague,
The conference comittee for the first joint meeting of BMES and EMBS cordially invites you to attend the 1999 Annual Fall meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society and the 21st Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, October 13 to 16, 1999. A number of workshops and tutorials will precede the conference on October 12.
More than 1500 delegates are expected to attend the conference, which will include exhibits, a series of special topic minisymposia, and over 1300 technical papers presented in platform and poster sessions. We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta next October for this history-making conference!
