The BMES membership approved the 2006 amendments to the BMES Constitution and By-laws.  These amendments brought bring the Society membership year into closer alignment with our annual meeting, changed the commitment to the presidency to a total of four years (one as President-Elect, two as President and one as Past President), made the various committee terms involving the President-Elect and Past President consistent with this change in leadership term, and modified the membership terms on the finance and publications committees.
