The 2010 annual meeting will be hosted by the University of Texas, Austin. According to Jack D. Hart, assistant chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, "We are expecting that more than 3,000 participants will attend the 2010 meeting. We look forward to building on Pittsburgh's 2009 success."
The 2010 meeting will again feature more than 1,500 poster presentations, almost 800 oral presentations during three full days of symposia and sessions on all aspects of biomedical engineering, Career Day for students and early-career professionals, and a host of professional and social activities at the Convention Center and in vibrant Austin.
