MEMBERSHIP
Fellows
Society members who demonstrate exceptional achievements and experience in the field of biomedical engineering, as well as a record of membership and participation in the Society, have the opportunity to become fellows. Select individuals who are not Society members but meet all of the other nonmembership fellow status criteria may be awarded honorary fellow status.
Fellow and honorary fellow memberships are conferred by the BMES board of directors through a highly selective process. Nominations for each of these categories may be made by Society members and the board of directors.
