The BMES membership approved the 2006 amendments to the BMES Constitution and Bylaws. These amendments brought the Society membership year into closer alignment with our annual meeting, changed the commitment to the presidency to a total of four years (one as president-elect, two as president, and one as past president), made the various committee terms involving the president-elect and past president consistent with this change in leadership term, and modified the membership terms on the Finance and Publications committees.
