New Benefits Available for BMES Members
Insurance, travel and credit card savings added to member package
Through a new partner program, the Biomedical Engineering Society now offers benefits and discounts from Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Hertz and other companies exclusively to BMES members.
The new travel, insurance, shopping and other benefits are in addition to BMES' core benefits that support careers and research in the Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering fields.
The new partner benefits are for BMES members only. To access the savings members should log onto the BMES website (with your BMES username and password http://www.bmes.org/aws/BMES/pt/sp/members_only_benefits).
Included in the new group of benefits is the SmartWay portal from Wells Fargo, which provides BMES members with access to discounts and special offers, including access to:

BMES members can also save up to 10% off car rentals with Hertz. Barnes & Noble is offering 5% discounts as part of the program.
All the benefits are available now the BMES staff is working to expand the benefits available.
