Focused on Undergraduate BME Projects on the
Development/Deployment of
Low-cost, Sustainable Medical Devices for use in
Resource-poor Nations.
Applicants must have graduated from a Biomedical Engineering undergraduate program (or equivalent) before September 2011 and be reporting on their undergraduate project related to the development/deployment of low-cost, sustainable medical devices for use in resource-poor Nations.
Abstract must be submitted by February 10, 2012. Applicants need to indicate that they were undergraduates at the time of the project and send an email of their abstract to hfv@bu.edu
Successful applicants will receive travel and housing support for the duration of the Congress. Funds for this program are provided by the IFMBE, BMES, IEEE/EMBS and Engineering World Health.
